This article came out a few months ago, but I was just fowarding the link to someone with whom I had been discussing it and I figured I'd link to it here.

It is about the Piraha tibe and how they may disprove Chomsky's theory of language. It is better than that desciption makes it sound, it's fascinating in fact.

It was one of those New Yorker pieces that made me want to keep subscribing to the magazine, even if about 3/4 of the others make me want to pitch it out the window.
