Isn't it actually the height of racism to rejoice in the fact that the new Louisiana governor is an Indian-American, as if the fact of his ethnic identity obscures a few facts that Undismayed considers to be more germane:

1. he is a religious kook who believes in intelligent design, which of course makes him about as intelligent and respectable as any dipshit in Louisiana

2. he is a product of the effette, elite, eastern ivy system that grooms leaders to be servants of power, so it is irrelevant really whatever his background is--he has had the same grooming as the Clintons, the Bushes, the Kerrys, and every other elite hoity-toity lording over the American people.

3. He is a damn Republican who has been a Bushite spaniel for the past decade.

I have much more respect for a homegrown, religious right kook from Louisiana who comes to this idiocy honestly and situationationally rather than an immigrant who, though evidently bright, has chosen to be a tool.

if he turns the state around, Undismayed will eat its hat.
