Well, Omaha (which used to have special status in my personal constellation since my parents lived there when they were first married and my brother was born there), has gone ahead and fired the first legal shot in what is sure to be long campaign to kill the rodeo (in this case, especially components of the Mexican rodeo) and to ensure that, finally, nothing will be done to arrest the swinish decline of the U.S., the graveyard of traditional cultures. All that will be left will be the corporate Bull Riders Only type rodeos with the NASCAR style merchandizing. Sorry, officially called "Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series".
