I have this very earnest student here who sends me emails that always seem like they are kind of creepy, like the one that said "What a hot autumn day!" I am not sure what I expected, but it wasn't the email that followed that did, indeed, detail that nice autmn day.

For new years he sent me one that listed the subject line: "a New Year, new you!" but mostly to wish me a happy year of the Rat.
