It was 100 degrees yesterday, actual degrees on the thermometer, not the heat index that the idiots on the weather reports have invented to give themselves something to say.

Then, as typical, a thunderstorm rolled in and the temperature dropped to 80 in a matter of minutes. It was one of those quite astonishing drops.

Think about the amount of energy required to drop 20 degrees over hundreds of square miles, it is really quite an astonishing power. If only we could harvest that somehow.
