Hearing back an update from a friend who actually went to the 20 year high school reunion, I learn that a dude we knew back when is now "Gay (yet somehow married with a child). Does a puppet show for kids for a living..."

Back when we here in h.s. this guy managed to land a small role in the third installment of a horror movie series popular in the mid-1980s (I won't name here but will let you know if you really give a shit). He got killed in the movie. With the money he made from it he bought a car and an ankle length acid-wash jean jacket that he wore all of the time.

Looks like the trajectory his life took toward children's puppet theatre was a logical one.
